The children have had a good week. We have been looking at statistics in maths, where the children have been collecting and representing data in both pictograms and bar charts.

For the festival of light day we have learnt about the Sikh festival called Bandhi, Chhor Divas or prisoner release day. The children have had a great time making Diva lamps and learning how to plait! This took some patience and perseverance.

In English we are writing newspaper articles. It would be fantastic if the children could have the opportunity to read some articles so that they understand how articles should sound. 

A reminder that the children will be going to church on Monday and could we please have all the small boxes in by Monday.
