We have had a wonderful week this week and the children have worked so hard. 

In English, the plot of Why the Whales Came has thickened! There are misconceptions and mysteries around the 'Birdman' and is the Isle of Bryher truly cursed? We have touched on some history and intrigue. The children are building up to their diary entry from the point of view of Gracie or Daniel. They have looked at exemplar work as well editing and finding out the features of a diary entry. 

In Dance, Mrs Conlong has taught them a spectacular dance to Vivaldi- Storm. During Hockey, they have learnt how to hold a stick, how to dribble, how to change direction and how to pass to team mates. The lesson culminated in a race to see which teams could dribble the ball through an obstacle course.  

Gardening club will recommense on Monday and we will be having some special guests/old friends joining us to help out. It is held at 12:30- 12:55pm on the school site and all are welcome. There is no need to book so please remind your child to attend. We will be chitting potatoes, planting bulbs and clearing beds ready for the spring.
